Bring Our Hawk Home

Lost: Last seen perched on Harding's Roof on June 10th
Help us bring our Hawk Home!

Last seen on June 10, Harding School’s historic hawk weathervane was taken from the school’s roof and not been returned.

We are actively seeking support from the community to replace our hawk.

Built in 1927, Harding Elementary School (renamed Harding University Partnership School on July 1, 2010) is one of the oldest schools in the Santa Barbara School Districts.

For over 80 years, the hawk has served as a symbol of high academic expectations for all students.

As we move into a new phase of Harding’s history as a partner school with the University Of California Santa Barbara, the hawk reminds us of the limitless opportunities our school provides children and families in the Harding neighborhood.

Below is a picture of our school’s rooftop, which was our hawk’s home.

Your generous donation will help us restore the history and beauty of our school.
